I was born and raised in a working class town on Long Island, graduated from a women’s college in May 2010 with a BA in Women and Gender Studies, and I currently live in a small western Massachusetts town called South Hadley. My transition began in early 2007, I’ve been on testosterone since July 31, 2008, and had top surgery on July 21, 2009.
I’m a people person, but I like my privacy. I know my own limits, take general precautions, and try to explore my options. I can be stubborn, attentive, blase, kind, friendly, shy, reserved and outspoken usually all within a single day. My life is a story being rewritten all the time, and I strive for relative happiness. I know a ridiculous amount about shoes. I hope one day to be an advisor and mentor, professionally and personally, and to work with queer youth and college students. I live my life by my rules, my way.
I like to talk about gender, theory, privilege, Life, religion, sex, history, social activism, philosophy, and relationships.
I like to drive, write, cook, swim, read, walk around barefoot, watch TV, and go camping.
I enjoy coffee, music, movies, video games, animals, the beach, radiators, baseball, nostalgic trinkets, and black and white photography.
